North Saanich, BC speed limit reduction pilot

Planning

The District of North Saanich and the District of Saanich are planning to launch a 3-year pilot project to reduce the speed limit on residential streets. During the pilot, any low-traffic roads without a yellow line would have the speed limit reduced to 40 kilometers per hour. The speed limit reduction would not affect any other existing speed zones such as roads outside schools or playgrounds.
