Norwalk, CT police background checks

The City of Norwalk is partnering with Guardian Alliance Technologies to upgrade the police department's social media and background checks for potential new hires. The partnership was formed to develop a streamlined electronic background check process and improve transparency. Guardian Alliance Technologies will use cloud-based software to provide real-time updates in the folders for each background check and search engines to include the applicant's social media content.
