Regina, SK CartSmart pilot program recycling education

Complete

The City of Regina launched the CartSmart pilot program to educate residents on proper curbside recycling. Participating neighbourhoods received evaluations on their recycling carts based on quick visual inspections by staff members on collection day. Residents with improperly recycled materials received an "Oops" tag while residents who have properly recycled received a "Good job" sticker. The program was designed to improve community recycling habits through direct feedback.
