Scranton, PA partners with OpenGov on modern ERP system
The City of Scranton partnered with OpenGov to modernize its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The outdated system placed the city in a high-risk group for security breaches in its digital infrastructure. The decision to update the system followed a ransomware attack which targeted the city's non-emergency response networks. The new cloud-based system will reduce the city’s reliance on paperwork, increase visibility, and improve transparency.
