South Lanarkshire Council, GB strengthens regional EV charging infrastructure with Project PACE
South Lanarkshire Council, GB Project PACE EV Charging
South and North Lanarkshire officials partnered with SP Energy Networks on the development of public EV hubs. An initial review focused on areas unlikely to be served by the private sector with the capacity for increased energy consumption. SP Energy Networks narrowed a list of 110 prospective sites into 44 hubs at county parking lots. The two-year project resulted in 167 new charge points and a model for EV infrastructure across the United Kingdom.
