Complete

Timaru District Council partnered with Vetta Online, a local internet service provider, to launch a free public Wi-Fi network. The network enables anyone with a Wi-Fi enabled device to access 500MB of fast, free Wi-Fi every day. Residents and visitors can pay bills, download entertainment, upload images, review tourism links, etc., without wasting mobile data. The new network also provides the Council's Civil Defence team with high speed internet access during local emergencies.
