The Municipality of Ystad allows residents to borrow electric bicycles from the local library for free to promote sustainable transportation. Residents, over the age of 18, can use their library card to book an electric bicycle for 14 days directly on the library's website. Riders must complete a physical survey at the end of the loan period and a digital survey 6 to 12 months afterwards.
