Auckland Council, NZ real-time bus capacity tracking

Auckland Transport introduced a major upgrade to, AT Mobile, its mobile app in order to help residents safely navigate travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. This new feature shows users the bus capacity in real-time to indicate the possibility of effective social distancing. Under the current restrictions, buses will be unable to pick-up new passengers until tracking indicates there are few enough passengers on board that acceptable social distancing is achievable.
