The council's Loan Bike Scheme offers e-bike rentals of up to four weeks in an effort to reduce emissions and congestion. The bikeshare system was paused at the beginning of the outbreak to provide free transportation to essential workers. Ten e-bikes were loaned to Royal United Hospitals Bath employees with 25 additional e-bikes available to local employers. A local bike shop provided maintenance for the fleet.
