The Bethel Police Department (BPD) is planning to make a $125,500 upgrade to its computer-aided dispatch and records management system software. The BPD is looking to implement NexGen's, a public safety solutions company, software to improve police operations. The upgrade would allow officers to write accident reports outside the station and submit traffic e-tickets directly from the scene of an incident.
