Birmingham City Council, GB Clean Air Zone mobility credits
In Progress
Birmingham City Council partnered with the Motorpoint dealership to deliver the Clean Air Zone's Scrappage and Mobility scheme. The dealership will offer residents a chance to scrap their old car and receive £2,000 credit which can be used on public transport or to purchase a compliant vehicle. Eligibility is limited to residents living in the city's Clear Air Zone, who work at least 18 hours a week, earn less than £30,000 a year, and have owned the vehicle since September 2018.
