Birmingham City Council partnered with the Motorpoint dealership to deliver the Clean Air Zone's Scrappage and Mobility scheme. The dealership will offer residents a chance to scrap their old car and receive £2,000 credit which can be used on public transport or to purchase a compliant vehicle. Eligibility is limited to residents living in the city's Clear Air Zone, who work at least 18 hours a week, earn less than £30,000 a year, and have owned the vehicle since September 2018.
