Borås, SE City Center Emissions-Free Electric Scooters

Bird and Tier supply e-scooters at 10 micro-mobility hubs near popular locations. Each hub includes double-sided parking racks steady enough to keep e-scooters out of the way of pedestrians and vehicles. Borås worked with the companies to limit riders to 6 kilometers per hour in 12 areas including the University of Borås and city parks. Both operators are handling pilot costs and maintenance as city officials evaluate potential expansion.
