Breckland Council, GB Mental Health First Aid rural areas

Complete

Breckland Council partnered with YANA, a rural mental health support charity, to provide a free Mental Health First Aid course for residents who work in rural communities. The course taught participants how to recognise the critical warning signs of mental illness. The course also boosted their confidence to show individuals struggling with mental illness the appropriate support. This project was designed to fight the stigma against mental health treatment in rural communities.
