Casey, VIC Planning Partnership Pilot Development Projects

Casey worked with eight area developers to make the planning process more efficient over the 12-month pilot. City officials tested greater collaboration across relevant departments along with a fee-for-service plan to anticipate developer needs. Developers and public planners communicated throughout the pilot to identify steps that could be expedited. Casey is developing a fully realized planning framework following lessons from the pilot.
