The council's Telecare system previously supported analog line use for one-button alerts in cases of emergencies. Enovation migrated all Telecare users over from the SafetyNet dispatch system to a digital community alarm system. This migration connected households with broadband or digital phone lines to a cloud-based platform accessed by the response team. East Renfrewshire ensured accessibility for all users by supplying SIM cards to households with analog phone lines.
