Hamilton, ON Ballot on Demand Pilot Voting Flexibility

In Progress

On-demand ballot printers will be stationed at McMaster University, Mohawk College, and Redeemer College for the October 2022 municipal election. Community members verify their voter eligibility and identity at each station's electronic poll book. The system prints ballots for each voter's ward regardless of the station location. Election officials are evaluating the system for potential citywide adoption during the 2026 municipal election.
