Leeds City Council launched a new electric cargo bike loan scheme for businesses to promote sustainable deliveries. During the three-month scheme, local businesses and organisations can borrow electric bikes by submitting an application and a £200 refundable deposit. After the trial ends, each participating business will receive a free report detailing their bike usage, financial savings, and carbon emission reduction. The scheme is designed to reduce pollution from heavy goods vehicles.
