The Marysville City Council officially approved the deployment of a citywide fiber optic network. This resolution allows the city to partner with SiFi Networks to install a privately-funded high-speed internet network at no cost to taxpayers. According to the agreement, SiFi Networks will own and maintain the infrastructure while leasing the fiber directly to internet service providers.
