The city of Mülheim an der Ruhr is partnering with technology-provider Siemens Energy to launch the "Heat Region" pilot project to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in production processes. Through this partnership, the city will offer industrial and commercial enterprises "MHeat" a low-carbon heat supply generated by a high-temperature heat pump.
