North Vancouver, BC parklets engaging public spaces

Complete

The City of North Vancouver expanded its streetscape and provided engaging public spaces by installing parklets. Parklets are modular platforms built on reallocated parking spaces which incorporate amenities such as seating, tables, art, bike parking, etc. The parklets are usually built in partnership with local business associations and community organizations. The parklets provide social settings in urban areas, attract visitors and potential customers, and enhance city streets.
