Palmerston North City Council created an online city carbon model which allows residents to predict the city's future emissions. Users are presented different policy choices which explore how changes to transport, land use, industry, buildings, and energy will impact the city's annual carbon emissions over the next 30 years. This climate calculator collects data from participants and informs the Council's development of carbon emission-related policies.
