The city of Rice Lake and St. Louis County are partnering with Consolidated Telephone Co. to expand broadband services for residents. The city and county are contributing $400,000 each to the partnership which contracts Consolidated Telephone Co. to install a fiber-optic network connecting city hall and 267 homes.
