Rotterdam, ZH QR codes waste management resident reporting

In Progress

The Municipality of Rotterdam is making it easier for residents to report problems with waste by installing QR code stickers on waste containers. Residents can easily scan the QR codes with a smartphone and report waste overflow or nearby litter directly to City Management. The system does not require users to login or download a mobile app so access is available to visitors as well as residents. The notification is automatically linked to the unique container code to ensure efficient service.
