San Antonio, TX program to improve digital literacy rates

The San Antonio Public Library has partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank, the non-profit Feeding Texas, and the internet service provider Google Fiber to launch the "Get Connected!" program to improve digital literacy rates and reduce the digital divide. The program distributes free refurbished laptops, hosts monthly dual-language classes on basic computer skills, and raises awareness of internet assistance programs low-income families.
