Seattle, WA Seamless Seattle citywide wayfinding system
In Progress
The Seattle Department of Transportation is partnering with design consultant Applied Information Group to create a citywide wayfinding system based on the Legible London model. This "Seamless Seattle" system is designed to make the city more legible, accessible, and walkable for residents, commuters, and visitors. The system's design includes the integration of heads-up mapping, illustrations, braille panels, non-English languages, recognizable product design, color blindness optimization, etc.
