Seattle, WA Internet for All Initiative Digital Access
City officials plan to offset connectivity gaps with the expansion of Wi-Fi hotspots, sponsored Internet kiosks, and improved broadband infrastructure. Seattle's action plan includes minimum accessibility standards and digital asset improvements that serve those with disabilities. An outreach campaign in 14 languages will further reduce barriers to connectivity. This initiative will lead to 20,000 new access points for low-income residents by 2023.
