St Paul, MN partners with Minneapolis on Twin Cities Electric Vehicle Mobility Network
St Paul, MN Minneapolis Electric Vehicle Mobility Network
The two cities are working with local nonprofit HOURCAR to offer one-way carsharing trips in electric vehicles. HOURCAR users can leave their EVs at any on-street spot unless the battery charge falls to a certain level. St. Paul and Minneapolis will manage a network of new charging stations for HOURCAR drivers and EV owners. The TCEVMN will be fully unveiled by 2022 following online community meetings, surveys in six languages, and neighborhood-level education campaigns.
