Volusia County is partnering with BallotTrax to provide voters with free access to ballot tracking which alerts users when their ballots have arrived and been counted. Registered voters will also receive an alert if any problems occur such as the ballot arriving unreadable or with an unverified signature. Any voter registrations to receive BallotTrax notifications will remain active as long as they have a vote-by-mail request on file.

Volusia County, Fla., voters who question whether their mail-in ballot has indeed arrived at the Supervisor of Elections Office and been counted will have a new way of settling those doubts.

Voters in Volusia County will have the option to track vote-by-mail ballots in upcoming elections, the county's Supervisor of Elections Lisa Lewis said Friday.
