Atlanta, GA real-time surveillance camera access police

In Progress

The Atlanta Police Department partnered with Peachtree Corners-based tech company Fusus to utilize new surveillance software that allows officers to share camera feeds in real time. The Connect Atlanta network provides officers access to footage from over 4,500 surveillance cameras from inside their squad cars before arriving at the scene of a crime. The surveillance program helps officers save time gathering evidence, making arrests, and deterring crime.
