Central Bedfordshire Council, GB Family Drug & Alcohol Court

In Progress

Central Bedfordshire Council collaborated with Luton Borough Council and Bedford Borough Council to launch the Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC) pilot programme. The FDAC was created as a new alternative to care proceedings which helps families of children at risk for parental substance misuse. This two-year pilot will work with 21 families in the first year and 30 families in the second year across all three councils.
