El Paso County, TX expanding broadband access
El Paso County is partnering with the city of El Paso, the El Paso Independent School District, the El Paso Housing Authority, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and the technical consultant Magellan Advisors to launch a new Digital El Paso program. The three-year program will examine various critical factors related to the expansion of broadband access in the community. The wireless network would bring internet access to underserved citizens, schools, public housing and small businesses.
