The city offers free Mumpreneur 101 and StartUp Smart Creative courses over eight-week timelines. Mumpreneur 101 teaches mothers how to develop sustainable at-home businesses. Entrepreneurs in the StartUp Smart Creative track learn how to develop, price, and market new products. Mandurah also developed a self-guided Business Recovery Management course to help entrepreneurs navigate through the challenges of COVID-19.

Headonista co-founders Rosie Hegarty and Victoria Gardiner say their future business aspirations look promising thanks to help from one of the City of Mandurah’s free entrepreneur programs.

Project Succeeded

This program has attracted 950 students since its creation with 65% of participants registering new businesses. Mandurah received the 2020 Contributing to Regional Growth Award at the National Awards for Local Government.
