Milan, LOM Cambio plan will place over 80% of the city within one kilometer of a cycling route

Milan, LOM Cambio plan of "super-cycle corridors"

Planning

The city of Milan partnered with the Dutch spatial economic research firm Decisio to design the Cambio plan to enhance sustainable travel. The city approved this £200 million plan to construct 750 kilometres of bike paths by 2035. The Cambio network will consist of four ring roads, four greenways, and 16 radiating lines to connect the city to its suburbs and surrounding municipalities. Once completed, 86% of the city's population and 80% services will be within one kilometer of a bike route.
