Mildura, VIC Electric Vehicle Charger Sustainable Goals
The council acquired three plug-in EVs for the mayor and other council officers from area dealerships. Projected ranges of 263 to 455 kilometers per charge allow drivers to complete their work without range anxiety. Mildura added EV charging stations to two council service facilities powered by renewable energy from the Victorian Energy Collaboration. Area EV drivers also benefit from a public fast-charging station at Ouyen Community Park.
