The council holds a weekly drawing for $10,000 AUD worth of Shop Orange cards redeemable at participating retailers. Two hundred winners are selected from online and mailed entries to receive $50 AUD each. Shop Orange cards generate traffic to local businesses and encourage additional purchases that help with economic recovery. Orange officials invested in the Retail Recovery plan after estimating a strong return on investment following five weeks of drawings.
