The Dane County Land & Water Resources Department, the Madison Area Municipal Stormwater Partnership, and Dane Arts Mural Arts launched the Storm Drain Mural Program to inform the public about the dangerous impact of stormwater pollution. The program involves painting murals on storm drains across 15 local communities to bolster their visibility and raise awareness about stormwater pollution in local lakes, rivers, and streams.
