The City of Akron's parking operator, ABM Parking Services, has partnered with Flowbird Group, a kerbside management and urban mobility solutions provider, to relaunch metered parking with the Flowbird mobile parking app. The mobile app features a map-based user interface integrated with Waze to guide users to their preferred parking location. The app also allows downtown visitors to pay for parking and receive text notifications when time is about to expire and extend their time.
