The city of Austin has partnered with Flowbird, an automated payment technology provider, to launch a mobile app and self-service kiosk for swimming pool admissions. Flowbird developed the city-branded app, ATX Swims, for the Austin Parks and Recreation Department Aquatic Division's 45 public aquatic facilities. The ATX Swims app allows users to remotely purchase admission tickets and the self-service kiosks allow visitors to purchase on-site entry passes.
