Central Coast, NSW Green Grid: Our Place Open Space Plan

Central Coast found that 89% of residents lived within 400 meters of public land but much of that space needed improvements for use. Green Grid: Our Place creates a 20-year strategy for improving open spaces with a focus on climate resiliency and livability. The plan establishes intertwined actions within six sub-grids like Agricultural, Cultural, and Recreational. Council officials shaped the first-in-state plan based on 12 workshops and a one-month public feedback period.
