City of Tshwane, GP deployed free public Wi-Fi for residents

The City of Tshwane partnered with Ulwembu Business Services to provide public Wi-Fi to residents. This project includes 783 free internet zones making it the largest Wi-Fi network in Africa. Residents can use the TshWi-Fi mobile app to locate the internet zone closest to them, make free phone calls, use free chat services, stream select movies, and watch local television content. The goal of the project is to provide full access to Wi-Fi throughout Tshwane within three years.
