Derby City Council, GB combines essential worker mobility and e-scooter evaluation during pilot

Derby City Council, GB Essential Worker E-Scooter Pilot

Derby and Wind Mobility are providing 50 e-scooter to local essential workers during the one-year pilot. Each scooter is available for monthly rentals at a discounted rate of £30 per month. Wind Mobility provides training on scooter safety along with helmets, locks, and hand sanitizer at checkout. E-scooter users can also request free maintenance checks. City officials identified essential workers as a highly mobile test group that could identify issues before a fuller rollout.
