Dortmund, NW Aktion Lappenloss Low-Emission Transit Program

Dortmund expanded the program from one household to four households over its first two rounds. Selected households receive free one-week transit passes in exchange for keeping their cars at home. The program also provides a cargo bike from the city's Environmental Agency for local shopping trips. Participants wrote blog posts about their experiences during Aktion Lappenloss, providing on-the-ground experiences with Dortmund's campaign for low-impact transport.
