Ten Tritium RTM75 stations have been installed in seven suburbs throughout the Gold Coast. Each 75-kilowatt station can charge two plug-in vehicles at once in cold and hot weather conditions. Distributed solar energy from Gold Coast's virtual power plant power these stations. Council officials placed the chargers within a radius of 50 kilometers to ensure local EV owners can recharge no matter where they drive.
