Greater Bendigo, VIC trains young drivers to drive responsibly with Truck Wise VR training

Greater Bendigo, VIC Truck Wise VR Training Responsible

In Progress

The city and its project partners produced two VR experiences for drivers aged 16 to 18 years old. Each 360-degree interactive video shows realistic road interactions between truck drivers and motorists. Truck drivers from two local companies were scanned for inclusion in the video. The Truck Wise website uses supplementary materials and an online quiz to reinforce safe driving around heavy trucks. Greater Bendigo intends this program for use alongside school driving programs.
