Hurunui District Council's "Stepping Up" programme offers residents free digital technology training. The programme includes over 30 modules designed to help residents operate their computers, smartphones, etc. Each module is run by local library staff and lasts approximately two hours. The programme was designed to address a community need, especially amongst senior citizens, for continued digital technology education.
