Jacksonville, FL Ultimate Urban Circulator Program
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is planning to launch the Ultimate Urban Circulator Program (U2C) a $44 million autonomous vehicle overhaul of the city's Skyway monorail. The JTA is in the process of procuring 12 to 15 small, electric autonomous shuttles to be used as transit vehicles along the Bay Street Innovation Corridor. The JTA plans to launch the first phase of AV shuttles into its transit services by 2023.
