Kirklees Council, GB evaluates e-scooter and e-bike use near Huddersfield train station
Kirklees Council, GB Huddersfield E-Scooter E-Bike
Scoot-Fit and Legacy Ride offer free 45-minute e-scooter and e-bike rides at the council's TRAVEL ReVOLUTION Hub. Scoot-Fit teaches participants how to operate standard scooters before releasing e-scooters for limited use. Kirklees Council evaluates usage rates during the pilot before expanding to other areas. A successful trial would improve local mobility while helping the council reach its 2038 carbon-neutrality goal.
