London Borough of Lambeth is partnering with onHand, a technology platform that addresses social isolation by matching volunteers with senior citizens, to launch a borough-wide shopping service. This service matches volunteers with residents in isolation due to COVID-19 who need essential groceries delivered. This borough-wide launch follows a successful two-week trial with 60 volunteers matched with hundreds of local residents.
