The Miramar Police Department adopted Mark43 a next-generation electronic Records Management System (RMS) with cloud-hosted, web-based, and mobile app capabilities. The project involved the staff spending nearly a year migrating over 20 years of accumulated data including three million records for calls for service, incident reports, arrest reports, field interviews, traffic crash reports, citations, etc.

The Mark43 web-based solution is accessible from a laptop or mobile device which allows officers and professional staff to access police department data or generate new reports from anywhere. Cloud based hosting was an essential feature as most employees needed to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
