The City of Penticton's Recreation Department created "Family P.L.A.Y. Kits" to offer activity options for families during the COVID-19 pandemic. The free kits contained resources for games, literacy tools, printable activity sheets, crafts, and sports equipment. Residents were able to borrow a kit for one week by scheduling a curbside pick-up through the city's online recreation booking system.
